As of August 2015, Moocroft K-8 was the largest K-8 school in the State of Wyoming and was constructed for a growing enrollment of 425 students. The new school was designed for a "Project Based Learning" educational delivery. It was built on existing acreage adjacent to the existing high school, which became a 9-12 school in lieu of a 7-12. This project was just completed and opened for the 2015-2016 school year.
