Bar Nunn Town Hall & Community Center

The Bar Nunn Town Hall and Recreation Center will serve as a welcoming and vitalizing gateway facility to the town of Bar Nunn. This new facility will embrace the culture of Bar Nunn and encourage new avenues of economic viability, enriching the lives of those who live in, work in, and visit the community.  Featuring a large gym space, a recreation center, and a town hall, the new facility will meet the current and future needs of a robust community hub in Bar Nunn.

 Designed to maximize the potential uses of the space, the interior specifically features a large gym area with the potential for multiple recreational uses, a weight room, a community room, and a warming kitchen. These spaces all flow into each other along the main circulation path, allowing for users of the building to seamlessly transition to and from various areas of the building.

 The town hall portion of the facility will allow for citizens to engage with the municipality in a welcoming and comfortable environment. This space has been designed to allow for a separation from public areas such as lobbies and meeting spaces, and private areas, such as the city staff office spaces. This area also features the council chambers room that directly accesses a smaller conference room, allowing for flexibility with larger and smaller crowds.

 These interior spaces are enhanced by exterior features such as a covered entry facing towards the east, protecting visitors from the Wyoming wind and weather. The building has been positioned on the new site with consideration of the surrounding areas. With quick access to the town walking path on the west and ball fields to the south, the building is well positioned for future growth and expansion and access to nearby amenities.
