Sheridan College Health Science

The Sheridan College Health Science project is a remodel and addition to the Whitney Building at the heart of Sheridan College’s campus. This remodel and addition expanded the Nursing, Dental Hygiene and Massage Therapy programs. Being landlocked required the design team to consider vertical design, to obtain more expansion space. A portion of the existing building was replaced with a two-story addition. The sequencing of this work was complex due to the planning for swing space/temporary moves for the programs and to accommodate the tight construction space. The project included 22,500 square feet of new construction and 8,400 square feet of renovation.
